Our paths crossed through her remarkable project, "Why Us?" She was able to share this work with our teachers and made a deep impression on them. I was especially taken with the way Claudia had empowered the young people she worked with to take ownership of the film - that showed real insight and also selflessness. My last memory of her is when I asked her to maybe come to show it again this summer, and she smiled a beautiful smile and said perhaps. She was an absolutely radiant spirit, and I am so saddened by the news of her loss. My heart goes out to her all her friends and family. You will be missed, Claudia.
