Condolence: Thinking of the Claudia's family one year after your great loss, and hoping that Claudia's spirit carries you onward to the new year.

Claudia was an extraordinary woman and what a smile! I had the fortune to work with her at NBC News and admired her from the first time we met. She was smart, elegant, wise and she valued and cherished the power filmmaking and storytelling have to transform lives. Her light and joy will shine on for a very long time in the hearts of so many she touched with her craft and for those she mentored a along the busy and well lived years of life.

Condolence: Dear Malis Family,

Claudia was a professional colleague of mine through the SEPA community, the group of educators who hold grants similar to the ones that Claudia received. While I only talked with her for a few hours at conferences, her intensity, sense of focus and purpose were captivating and inspiring. Her film is one of the most outstanding pieces to come out of the SEPA program. Her message and methods will influence all of us for years to come. Although I had no claim to her attention, the force of her personality has left an indelible mark on my conscience. As I am saddened by her loss, you must be devastated. Please know that her influence was far flung and all that you have done over the years to support her is appreciated by her professional friends. Her gifts to the world were many. A bright light has been lost to the universe.

Condolence: Our paths crossed through her remarkable project, "Why Us?" She was able to share this work with our teachers and made a deep impression on them. I was especially taken with the way Claudia had empowered the young people she worked with to take ownership of the film - that showed real insight and also selflessness. My last memory of her is when I asked her to maybe come to show it again this summer, and she smiled a beautiful smile and said perhaps. She was an absolutely radiant spirit, and I am so saddened by the news of her loss. My heart goes out to her all her friends and family. You will be missed, Claudia.

Condolence: I was saddened to read of Claudia's passing. We were good friends back in the MacDuffie Days, and I knew Dr. and Mrs. Pryor very well. Dr.Pryor was a professor and academic advisor of mine at WNEC in the 70s. Claudia was always a lot of fun in school, and I'm not surprised she had a full and successful life. I wish I could have been in touch with her more recently. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Condolence: The value of a mentor is immeasurable. I am privileged to know that Claudia's spiritual path crossed mine, and her contributions as a guide and teacher will carry on in eternity. Claudia is resting in peace because that is how she lived...with only peace in her heart. God bless.

Condolence: I did not have the pleasure of knowing Claudia Pryor but as another African American Woman in the world of media I felt compelled to send a note of gratitude and thanks to Claudia for paving the way and for leaving her incredible legacy of contributions to the media industry and to the world. Claudia will always serve as a role model and I am certain that the world is a better place because she graced us with her gift and her presence. May God Bless the family during this time of loss.

Condolence: I send my sincere condolences to you for your loss of Claudia. I worked with her many years ago at KGO-TV in San Francisco. She was a marvelous writer and a delightful colleague. It was a privilege to know her and work with her and I will always remember her with great affection.
