Dear Burlin Family, I was so sorry to learn about Bob’s death. You don’t know me, but I worked with Bob and his Uncle Sam in my father’s store in downtown Cleveland, Club Sales, when we were in high school and college. He was a terrific guy, with a great sense of humor. One story. In the early 2000s I had a national TV gig on NBC. Bobby saw one of my shows and called me out of the blue, and we talked for a half hour, picking up as if we had spoken every day (it had been at least 25 years since we had spoken). He was that kind of guy and I am proud that I knew him. You have my sympathies. Alan
