Robert P. Burlin, 62, of Stamford, passed away on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, with his loving family by his side. Born in Cleveland, OH, August 13, 1955, to the late Leo and Dorothy Meltzer Burlin.
Bob was a loving husband, father, and dear friend. The two best days of his life were January 10, 1980 when he married the love of his life, Martha. And March 27, 1990, when their son Andrew was born. Along the way there have been countless holidays and get-togethers where we all experienced Bob's sense of humor, entertaining conversations, and most importantly his cooking.

Bob was an avid golfer and dog owner, spending most weekends with his buddies at Sterling Farms or Gaynor Brennan or in the backyard with his beloved dogs.

As a member of the team at Corporate Insight for over 16 years, he will be missed around the office and on the train from Springdale every morning.

Bob was a lifelong, loyal fan of Cleveland sports, favoring the Cavaliers, Browns, and Indians. He also enjoyed spending vacations on Sanibel Island, FL every October for the past 30+ years.

He is survived by his loving wife Martha Wofner Burlin, son Andrew Burlin (Jane), brothers Denny (Betsy) and Gary Burlin (Harold), as well as his Uncle Bill Meltzer (Elayne) and Aunt Carole Rock (Alvin). He is predeceased by his Aunt Gussy, Uncle Sam, and Aunt Gloria.

Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT, Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. with a life celebration service to be held at 11:30 A.M.
