Dear Joanne, When I think of your Dad I am immediately reminded of his kindness, gentleness, and how much he loved you and your Mom. Although it's been a long time, I can still picture him playing the organ, wearing his glasses and reading the paper in the breezeway on Van Buskirk, and keeping Stamford and its citizens and shopkeepers safe as he patrolled Bedford Street on foot. I envision that he and your Mom are now once again cutting a rug and dancing up a storm. Joanne, may our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this difficult time, and may you draw strength from the happy memories and the love you shared -- that love is still there and continues.
