Jobtheel F. Felican, 63, a longtime member of Stamford, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. Jobtheel was born on April 7, 1955, in Port du Prince, Haiti, son of the late Moneti and Rosemise Jean Louis Felican.
Jobtheel is survived by his loving and devoted wife of over 20 years, Manette D. Felican of Stamford, his brother Leham Felican of Florida, an uncle Jorvilien Jean-Louis, His brother-in-law Clark Abdon and mother-in-law Carmen Cadet. His cousins Adina Boliere and her husband Jean of Stamford, cousins Idelette Felixon, Johnny and Farlin Faustin, Dukens, Winkler, J. Samuel, and D’Joly M. Boliere, Geraldine Benoit, Rosemise, Kabstel, and Daniel Jean-Louis, Mona Noel, and Mario Beauliere. Also survived by his nieces Minerva, Chemilda, Kethlene, Micheka, and Yolehema Felican, and nephews Lehem Jr., Molevson, and Hylem Rick Felican. His close friends, Frantzy Lamy, Ernst Jean, Nerlande Exavier, and Marlaine Mongerard. Also surviving are many grand nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT 06902 on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Union Baptist Church, 805 Newfield Ave., Stamford at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery Darien, CT.
