Elizabeth Ann Perone, 87, formerly of Stamford passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at St. Raphael’s Hospital. She was born in Stamford on June 23, 1930 to the late Stephen and Lillian Caddle Colosi.

Elizabeth, know to her friends as “Betty” started her designer sales career at Bloomingdales. Betty then became the St. John Specialist at Saks 5th Avenue in Stamford, where she achieved many sales awards and honors. Betty had a passion for helping her clients prepare for those memorable occasions, dinner at the white house, international trips, performances and family events. Betty also had the opportunity to work with several celebrities.

She is survived by her loving children, Anthony Perone, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Wilton, CT. Ronald J. Perone and his wife Kathy of Fairfield CT. and Lillian Perone and her partner Donna Vavrinec of Prospect, CT, as well as her grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren, Derek, Mark, Ryan and his wife Chelsie. Also surviving is her sister, Gail Del Vecchio and her husband Charles of Miami Shores, FL; along with several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Anthony S. Perone, Sr., and her brothers, Harold and Ronald Colosi.

A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 9:30 AM a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at Church of St. Cecilia, 1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
