Rose DiBlasio,91, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away peacefully at home with her son and daughter by her side on Friday, April 20, 2018. She was born in Stamford on September 20, 1926 to the late Luigi and Rose LaRosa Piscitelli.
Rose was a loving and caring mother and placed her family first above all else. She enjoyed to cook, play Bingo and especially her occasional trips to the Casinos.
Rose is survived by her loving and devoted children, Linda R. DiBlasio and Bud DiBlasio , both of Stamford, her brother Louis Piscitelli and her sister Josephine Cuva and her husband Frank, all of Stamford.
Besides her parents, Rose was predeceased by her husband Henry H. DiBlasio in 2015 and five brothers, John V. Tumminello, Angelo, Anthony, Joseph and Sebastian J. Piscitelli.
A graveside service was held privately at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory was honored to assist the DiBLasio family with the arrangements.
