Rose Marie Palladino Hill, a lifelong resident of Stamford, CT, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the age of 82. Rose was born on December 23, 1934, daughter of the late Leo and Maria Lucia “Lucy” Palladino.
Rose was a former employee of Pitney Bowes, where she worked in production control for over 30 years before her retirement. She was a member of St. Clement’s Church in Stamford and enjoyed bowling, golf and stained-glass artwork. She was very involved in both her church and community as a volunteer.
Rose is survived by her brother Angelo Palladino of Wakefield, RI, and her sister Toni D’Agostino of Stamford, CT. She is also survived by her step children and several generations of nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Rose is predeceased by her beloved husband Donald Hill, her brothers Nicholas Palladino, Daniel Bacco, Joseph Bacco, and William Bacco and her sisters, Anne Hushion, Mary Galasso, Ann Ginter, Jennie Corridor, and Sue Sestito.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 11:30AM at St. Clements RC Church, 535 Fairfield Ave., Stamford, CT.
