Dearest Family Friends, I was so sad to hear of Mr. Garufi's passing. I had recently walked down memory lane. The route from St. Maurices School to 358 West Avenue, Darien...home. Being back from San Diego & Orlando, I had hoped to make contact eventually. Well, thank you for making those long gone by days so sweet for me on the one mile+ walk. You both would always smile and reach out to this shy girl (then) to enjoy the freshest plums or peaches at your produce stand; and, then my walk had a fresh prance to it.
