Anthony O. Carlucci, 79, of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Stamford Hospital. He was born in Stamford on July 2, 1937 to the late Peter and Mary Rosa Carlucci.
Anthony was a former employee at W.R. Johnson Plumbing for forty two years before retiring in 2000. He was a veteran of the US Army, a member of the Halloween Yacht Club and a former member of the Knights of Columbus, #41 St. Augustines Council. He also enjoyed boating, fishing and was also an avid Mets and Giants fan.
Anthony is survived by his devoted wife of fifty six years, Mary Ann Milano Carlucci of Stamford, his loving son Peter A. Carlucci and his wife Anna Marie of Southport, two grandsons Anthony and Christopher Carlucci, his sister Gertrude Sciarretta and her husband Sal of Stamford, four sister in laws, Lena Hogan and her husband Dan of Stamford, Barbara Milano of Stamford, Carly Niewinski and her husband Hank of Stamford and Sally Macaluso of Milford, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 10:00 AM AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart RC Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will be private. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
