Louise M. DeCarlo Uva, 92, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Wednesday, October, 24, 2012 at her home in Branford. A lifelong resident of Stamford born in New Canaan on December 24, 1919 to the late Carlo and Marcellina Sachet Menotti.
Louise was a devoted mother and grandmother, family and friends were not only her life, but her happiness as well.
Louise is survived by a daughter Diane M. Garrity of Clinton, CT. Son Albert T. DeCarlo, Jr. and wife Peggy of Stamford. Her two grandsons Albert T. DeCarlo III and Mark M. DeCarlo of Stamford. A sister Gloria Cretella of Naugatuck, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents Louise is predeceased by her two husbands Albert T. DeCarlo and Christian P. Uva, and a brother Anthony Menotti.
There will be no calling hours, however family and friends may join for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Mary’s RC Church 566 Elm Street, Stamford on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 10:00AM, and proceed for interment at the St. John’s Cemetery, Darien, CT.
