Obituary for Kathleen E. Watton
Kathleen E. (Hughes) Watton died peacefully in Stamford, CT on July 27, 2021 at the age of 96. Kathleen was born in Norwich, England on January 5, 1925 to Robert and Daisy Wilde.
Kathleen was the second of four daughters, Eileen, Patricia, and Betty, all of whom predeceased her. During World War II she met Sgt. Harry Hughes in Norwich and they were married in 1943. After the war ended Kathleen emigrated to the United States to be with Harry in New York City. Harry died in 1974. Kathleen remarried and was predeceased by him. Kathleen lived in Stamford for over 27 years.
Surviving Kathleen are her son, Robert, and his wife, Marie, of Marco Island, FL and grandson, Christopher, and his wife, Doreen, of Ponte Vedra, FL.
