Obituary for Guiseppe "Joseph" Zappia
Giuseppe “Joseph” Zappia, 50, a longtime resident of Norwalk, passed away at Norwalk Hospital on Sunday, December 27, 2020. Joseph was born in Greenwich, CT on July 13, 1970 and was the son of the late Rocco and Maria Crea Zappia.
Joseph is survived by his loving siblings; sisters, Elisabetta Jones and her husband Christopher of Somers, NY and Rosa A. Taulty and her husband William of West Haven, CT and brother; Rocco Zappia and wife Brigid of Stamford, CT. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Shane Taulty, Alexis Jones, Kaylee Taulty, Andrew Jones, Alison Zappia and Lucca Zappia.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT, on the morning of Thursday, December 31, 2020 from 10am to 12pm with a prayer service being offered at 12pm. Following the service, a procession will leave for the entombment at St. Mary’s Mausoleum in Greenwich, CT.
