Obituary for John P. Annuzzi Sr.
John P. Annuzzi, Sr., 79, of Stamford died peacefully at home on December 31, 2018 with his beloved wife at his side. John was born August 23, 1939 in Stamford, CT son of Patrick and Marion Annuzzi.
John graduated from Stamford High School Class of “1958”. He worked at Clariol until his retirement; and at Southfield Packing for another seven years.
John is survived by his wife of 56 years Edie F. Annuzzi, his daughter Kim Moss and her husband Glen of Brookfield, CT, his son John P. Annuzzi, Jr., and his wife Terrie of New Milford, CT, five grandchildren, Stephen Moss, Stephanie Moss, John P. Annuzzi, III, Christopher Annuzzi and Michael Annuzzi, and one precious great-granddaughter Emma, his aunt Irene Thompson and several cousins and many friends.
John will be missed by all. He was a wonderful person. Wherever he went, you could hear his laughter. He was generous to a fault; never worried about himself, always the other person. He was everyone’s friend.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT, on Friday, January 4, 2018, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home following the calling hours and a committal service will be held at Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Oak Lawn Ave., Stamford.
