Patricia D. Schriefer, 84, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away on Sunday, October 14th, 2018. Patricia was born in Stamford on October 9, 1934, daughter of the late William J. Dowling and Helen M. Kinsella Dowling.
Patricia is survived by her two sons, Robert G. Schriefer of Beacon Falls, CT., and Richard J. Schriefer and his wife Tammara of Brookfield, CT. Patricia is also survived by her three grandchildren, Jennifer, Natalie, and Michael, along with several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents Patricia is predeceased by her beloved husband Robert Schriefer. She is also predeceased by her daughter-in-law Roseanne, her sister Nancy Surhoff, and her brother William Dowling.
A funeral procession will be leaving the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 10:00AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30AM at Church of St. Cecilia, 1184 Newfield avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s RC Cemetery, Darien, CT. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM.
