Marie Monti, 92, of Norwalk, CT passed away peacefully after a long illness, on Saturday, November 18, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 20, 1925 in Carnegie, PA and raised by the late Giuseppe and Antonietta Feliciani.


Marie was predeceased by her loving husband of 34 years, Anthony Monti, and her brother Vincent Feliciani. She is survived by her daughters, Tonia Monti, of New Rochelle, NY, Dina Monti of Norwalk, CT, Lisa Saltarelli and her husband Joseph, of Wilton, CT, as well as her sister, Francesca Fraine, of Rye, NY, three grandchildren, Jackie, Anthony and Annie Saltarelli, and nieces, Michelle, Renee and Carla and their families.
Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Friday, November 24, 2017, from 5:00-9:00 PM. A funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 10:00 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Bridget’s of Ireland RC Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
