Marie Felece “Peggy” Bellairs, 88, born and raised in Stamford, passed away at Stamford Hospital Sunday, July 16, 2017. Marie was born on September 6, 1928 to the late Michele and Maria LoRusso Signorile.
Peggy is survived by her daughter Jacqueline B. Arcano, two sons, Clem Bellairs, IV, and Michael Bellairs and his wife Roula Jordanides, Five grandchildren, Frank A. III, Blair M. and Michael C. Arcano and his wife Jennifer, as well as Michael II and Jordan C. Bellairs.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 67 years Clement K. “Jack” Bellairs III. Marie was also predeceased by infant son, Kendrick Michael, four brothers Leonard, Michael, Pasquale, and James Signorile, her sister Irene Perkowski and son-in-law Frank A. Arcano, Jr.
Peggy graduated Stamford High School in 1947. She played an important part in raising her children and grandchildren influencing their lives. She enjoyed dancing with her husband and attending Navy reunions with him. She will be remembered and missed for her willingness to sacrifice and care for her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 22, 2017 at St. Mary R.C. Church 566 Elm St. Stamford, CT at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park, Oaklawn Ave. Stamford.
