Madeline ""Maddy"" Boccuzzi (Viggiani)
Madeline Boccuzzi, known as Maddy entered into the arms of Jesus on June 8, 2017, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Yonkers, New York on December 16, 1935 to the late Dominick and Carmela Viggiani, and raised in Bronx, New York. She became a resident of Stamford after her marriage in 1957.

Besides her parents, Madeline was predeceased by her husband, John Boccuzzi in 2005 and her brother, Frank Viggiani in 2015. She is survived by her daughter Sandra and her husband Rocky S. Progano and her son George Boccuzzi and his wife Susanne and her twin sister Laura Mucilli of Fl. Her heart beat for her four grandchildren, Rocky II and his wife Ashley Progano, Christopher Progano and Emmely, Mark Progano and Cristina and Daniel Boccuzzi. Her latest joy in her life are her great-grandchildren Avellina and Elianna Progano, as well as several loving nieces, nephews and cousins. The family also would like to express their deepest appreciation to close family friends, Georgette and Russell Bateman and also to her caregivers Minerva and Elida for the special care that their Mom received.

In her early years, Madeline worked as a mortgage specialist on Wall Street and later employed at People's Bank in Darien, but what she loved most was raising her two wonderful children.Madeline was also a devoted grandmother to her four grandsons, whom she adored, and her latest joy, her two beautiful great granddaughters who affectionately called her GG. She was a loving aunt and caring friend. Madeline loved to sing and dance. She knew the lyrics to many songs and could name that tune in one second. She entertained all with her harmonic songs. Madeline’s dancing abilities were equally outstanding. She met the love of her life at a dance at Glen Island Casino and together they danced until physically no longer able. She was an amazing cook and prepared many meals for her precious family and friends. She will be treasured as a fun-loving, caring, forgiving woman, who loved God, animals and life. Madeline always had a song in her heart and always sang a song to the Lord each day.
