Eva Giron-Bratsenis, 75, of Stamford passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 16, 2017. She was born in El Salvador on August 28, 1941 to the late Catarino and Santos Medrano Giron.
Eva was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was a member of The Basilica of St. John the Evangelist RC Church of Stamford and loved helping the residents of Vine Road, where she resided. Eva loved life, music and reading.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Lorena Mendoza of Stamford, two granddaughters, Pamela and Natalie Mendoza of Stamford, as well as several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John Bratsenis.
Family and friends may call at 36 Vine Road, Stamford(The Bird Room) on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Interment will be private and there are no calling hours. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory is honored to assist the Bratsenis family with the arrangements.
