Mary Elizabeth Breuer,78, formerly of Stamford passed away peacefully on Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Masonicare of Newtown. She was born on December 5, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY to the late William and Sarah Hughes Capper.
Mary was a former employee/volunteer of St. Joseph Hospital’s Coffee Shop and the Dietary Department of Stamford for twenty years before retiring. She volunteered in her spare time at the New Covenant Centers soup kitchen of Stamford and the Wound Care Center. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels and was also a medical coder for Dr. Ravinder and Sadha Alaigh family practice in Stamford.
Mary is survived by her loving daughters, Anne Breuer Gingrass of San Francisco, CA and Sarah Pikikero and her husband Richard of Monroe, CT, as well as her granddaughter Rebecca Anne Gingrass Moreno and her husband Rubin and her great grandson Mateo.
Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband Robert J. Breuer and her sisters Marjorie Walz and Eleanor Burke.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Star of the Sea, 1200 Shippan Avenue, Stamford. Interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY at a later date. There will be no calling hours.
