Condolence From: Horace
Condolence: My sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. Be assured that the almighty God truly cares for the family! May you find comfort in the promise that "... there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous" (Acts 24:15), and very soon "... no resident will say, 'I am sick'" (Isa. 33:24) because "... death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”(Rev. 21:4) How is this possible? Visit JW. ORG and search for 'Why did Jesus die?'. Then watch the video.

Condolence From: Your loving wife Anita
Condolence: My sweetest Mike what can I say that we haven't said to each other a million times over. You are my best friend, husband, soulmate and the love of my life. I could not ever imagine going through life without you. I walk around in an empty shell and my heart just aches for you everyday. But I'm keeping my promise I made. You would be very proud of me. I'm trying to step up to help fill in the voids our children's lives. I feel you around me constantly and that will be forever and a day just like our love. MY ENDLESS LOVE 💔❤💕💞

Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Anita, Ashley, Michael and Mike's siblings. I was so very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I met Mike at Waldenbooks HQ on Ludlow St. in the mid/late 1970s -before he married Anita. Anita was the love of his life. He was thrilled and so very proud to be Anita's husband. He adored her, worshiped her. Anita joined us at Waldebooks shortly after their marriage. The three of us belonged to the same bowling league. No one more than Mike was shocked when at the end of the year, the 1st place team included Anita and me -- especially when I only scored a 33 my very first game. We shared so many laughs. Mike was all about family. He was over the moon with excitement on becoming a father - first Ashley and almost a decade later, young Michael. He was a loving husband and father and a wonderful friend. I thank Mike and Anita for their friendship. Mike will be missed by all who knew him. Forever in our hearts. Rest in Peace sweet Mike.

Condolence: Sad news. Mike was a great guy. My favorite Mike story is when one morning I was in the mailroom to ask him about a project when he told me, "Hey I hit a deer on the Merritt on the way in and still have it in my truck. I need to take it back home to get it cleaned and hung in my garage. Can we reschedule till after lunch?"

Condolence: For a true man. Though Mike is my brother inlaw, he was my brother, My husband,my friend and anything I needed him to be. Mike was like no other. He was an angel. He was a hard wrking man and nothing came before his family. He was a fair and honest man. I still remember the twinkle in his eyes when he married my sister, and then when he found out he was going to be a dad and through out the years. He was a proud and giving man. He made it an honor to have him in my life and if I never meet another man like Mike, I will always remember the joy, laughs and love we shared as we walked this earth. Mike I always knew you were an angel and thank you for touching my life, I can only strive to have learned the lessons you taught me and I can use them as you did. R.I.P my Hero.

Condolence: I went to high school with Mike, and am very sorry to learn of his passing. Ironically, I looked Mike up today to finally say hi again and let him know about a class reunion, and was stunned to find he just passed. We may have been out of touch for a long, long time, but I can tell you I had a very high regard for Mike and always will. We shared almost every day together then, and always had a ton of fun, laughs, and good times. Though I've never met any of you, I would like to express my deepest sympathy to his wife and children, as I'm sure he was a remarkable husband and father to you. Rest in Peace, Mike.

Condolence From: Ashley, your loving daughter
Condolence: For Dad We’re here today to honor the life of my father, Mike McKinize. Dad was patient, genuine, kind, caring, talented and good. He meant so much to those who knew him and meant the world to those who knew him best. They say that the value of a man is not measured by what he does for himself to make his life easier, but measured by what he does for others to make their lives easier. They also say that the virtue of a man ought to be measured not by extraordinary exertions, but by his every day conduct. By all accounts, my father exemplified true value and virtue and I would like to share some of his life lessons and words of wisdom: •March to the beat of your own drum •Don’t be afraid to be rebel and challenge authority •Imperfections add character •Don’t worry or over-analyze – handle things as they come •Common courtesy and manners matter •so does rock & roll •Don’t allow others to make you feel less than •Don’t go to sleep angry •Giving up hope can’t be an option •If you’re cold – put on another sweater- heat’s a luxury •Saying less conveys more •Don’t act like the expert – listen and learn •The Beatles are over-rated – Zeppelin is underrated •Enjoy your children’s joys -distract them from their pain •Never leave people wondering how you feel about them •Say I love you •Be proud but humble •Don’t take the little things for granted and pay attention to the smallest of details •Work hard and stay active for as long as you can •Be kind, honest, tough and fair •Perceptions are everything •Make the most out of every situation and try to move forward no matter how difficult the road ahead seems I feel so incredibly fortunate that Mike McKinzie is my father and that I’m able to share just a handful of his wisdoms with all of you here today. Thank you.

Condolence: A GOOD MAN A good man never dies - In worthy deed and prayer And helpful hands, and honest eyes, If smiles or tears be there: Who lives for you and me- Lives for the world he tries To help-he lives eternally. A good man never dies. Who lives to bravely take His share of toll and stress, And for his weaker fellows' sake, Makes every burden less, -- Lie fallen-hands and eyes Folded-yet though we mourn and mourn, A good man never dies. James Whitcomb Riley Mike McKinzie was a good man. He will live in the hearts of those loved him forever.
